HEALTH EDUCATION
This section highlights my internship and work experiences in health education. It includes two projects I completed as a part of my Senior Internship at Horses Helping People, as well as an informational project I created for UF Health Shands Hospital.
Horses Helping People (HOPE)
Spring 2020 Internship
I completed a part-time internship at HOPE- Horses Helping People- during my final semester at the University of Florida.
HOPE is an organization that provides Equine-assisted therapy for individuals with special needs. Included on this page are two informational projects I created about HOPE that were presented to potential donors, volunteers, and clients.
UF Health Shands Hospital Fall Education Poster
The last project in this section of the portfolio is a Fall Education poster for staff and patients of UF Health Shands Hospital. I created this project while working as a Patient Care Assistant on Unit 64 in hopes of reducing the amount of patient falls, as well as educating the support staff on the "Fall Bundle".
